The ship is designed to cater for naval personnel relevant to the conditions of the mid 1980's as a warship.

It retains its layout and is largely original, including its fittings and facilities. 

The bridge is comprehensive, retaining original however antiquated equipment 

Main Deck area superstructure houses two separate showers and toilets, small commercial galley and comfortable mess area.

Main engines and generators are situated at this level 

Accommodation consists of bunk berths located lower in both hulls with a separate mess areas in addition to storage rooms.
